General

Everything you need to send. Nothing you don't.

Birsend sends WhatsApp messages from a number you already own. There is no separate business identity to apply for and no template approval queue: you pair your line, import your contacts, and send.

What you get

The foundation: your own number, saved messages, a sending pace that keeps the line healthy, and one inbox the whole team answers from.

Your number, your reputation

Scan one QR code and you are live. Messages leave from your own line, so customers see the number they already trust.

A library of saved messages

Write once, reuse everywhere. Templates carry a status, so a half-finished draft is never one click away from four thousand people.

Sending pace you choose

Cautious, balanced or brisk — six, twelve or twenty messages a minute. Set it per campaign and the sender never exceeds it.

Shared team inbox

Everyone answers from one place. Threads carry the whole history with that person, including anything a campaign sent them.

Automatic replies

Answer a keyword, a first-time message, or every message that arrives. Reply from a template, tag the contact, or both.

Reporting over any period

Attempted, delivered, replies, clicks, contacts added, opt-outs — compared against the period before, with a PDF to download.

How it works

01

Your own line, not a shared sender

Messages leave from the number your customers already have saved. Replies come back to the same place, into a shared inbox, so a campaign and the conversation it started are one thread rather than two systems.

  • Pair by scanning a QR code from the Numbers screen
  • One workspace can hold several numbers, each with its own sending hours
  • A number that drops off reports why, and the campaigns using it stop rather than fail quietly
02

Templates with a status, on purpose

Saved messages are draft, active or archived, and only active ones are offered when you build a campaign. It is a small thing that prevents the worst mistake this product could let you make.

  • Every template tracks how often it was used and when it was last used
  • Deleting one leaves the campaigns built from it intact — they kept their own copy
  • Placeholders like {first_name} and {company} fill on automatic replies
03

Automatic replies that explain themselves

A rule answers an inbound message: on a keyword, on somebody’s first ever message, or on every message. It can reply from a template, ask your own AI model to write the answer, and tag the contact.

  • Keywords match whole words — “price” does not fire inside “priceless”
  • An “outside sending hours” condition turns any rule into an out-of-office reply
  • Every rule keeps a run log, including the times it decided not to fire and why

What it does not do

The honest list. We would rather you found this here than three weeks into a trial.

  • Campaign bodies are sent exactly as written. Merge fields fill on automatic replies, not on campaigns — see the note on the Tracking page.
  • Automatic replies are triggered by an inbound message only. There are no time-delayed, cart-abandonment or shipping-status journeys.
  • The 3–7 second spacing between individual messages is handled by the WhatsApp service, not tuned here. Birsend controls the per-minute rate, the hours and the daily ceiling.

Questions

Do I need WhatsApp Business API approval?

No. Birsend drives a number you already own, so there is no application, no template review and no per-message fee to a provider.

What happens to replies?

They arrive in the shared inbox against the same contact, in the same thread as anything a campaign sent them. Automatic reply rules see them first.
