Birsend · WhatsApp messaging, done properly
Birsend connects the WhatsApp number your customers already know, then sends messages that feel written one by one. No agency, no API paperwork.

Features
As capable as an enterprise suite, as simple as a conversation. Six things Birsend does properly.
Scan one QR code and you are live. Messages leave from your own line, so customers see the number they already trust.
Write once, reuse everywhere. Templates carry a status, so a half-finished draft is never one click away from four thousand people.
Cautious, balanced or brisk — six, twelve or twenty messages a minute. Set it per campaign and the sender never exceeds it.
Everyone answers from one place. Threads carry the whole history with that person, including anything a campaign sent them.
Answer a keyword, a first-time message, or every message that arrives. Reply from a template, tag the contact, or both.
Attempted, delivered, replies, clicks, contacts added, opt-outs — compared against the period before, with a PDF to download.
How it works
No developer tickets, no onboarding call. You can be sending from your own line before lunch.
Virtual Phone
Birsend reads your WhatsApp numbers the way your customers do — as conversations. Connect more than one, pick which you are looking at, and answer from the same screen the campaign went out from.
A workspace holds more than one WhatsApp line — support on one, sales on another. Switch between them from the header, and each keeps its own sending hours and its own conversations.
Whoever answers can see what that person was sent, when, and whether it was read. A broadcast and the conversation it started are not two systems to line up by hand.
The inbox shows who is already in a conversation and lets you hand a thread over, so four people can share one number without stepping on each other.
Email gets skimmed. WhatsApp gets read. Birsend turns that gap into a channel you can actually measure.
MCP Server
MCP — the Model Context Protocol — is the open standard for giving an AI model tools it can call. Birsend publishes twenty-two of them for a WhatsApp line you already own, so Claude can read a thread, answer a customer, tag them and stop a campaign, under the same rules as everybody else on your team.
Nothing to install and nothing to host. Paste the endpoint and a bearer key into Claude Desktop, Claude Code or your own runner, and the twenty-two tools appear. The key decides which of them the server even advertises — an agent holding a read-only key is never told that sending exists.
What a key may do is the overlap between the role you gave it and your own permissions. Nobody can mint a key more capable than themselves, and a key stops growing the moment the person behind it is demoted.
Sending hours, the daily cap, the opt-in requirement, blocked contacts and your own word filter are checked per message, whoever asked for it. A refusal comes back as a sentence the agent can read — “Outside the sending window (09:00–20:00 Europe/Istanbul).” — rather than as a silent failure.
An agent can pause a campaign that is going out. There is no tool to resume one, and none to schedule or send one: putting thousands of messages back in motion because a model read a sentence a certain way is not a thing to automate. Nothing can be deleted from here either.

Upload the sheet, hit send, done in three minutes. The whole team was using it on day one.

I was worried about our number getting flagged. Six months and 40,000 messages later, still clean.
FAQ
These are the six that come up most. The full FAQ answers around sixty, including a list of what Birsend does not do — or ask us directly.
Nobody can promise otherwise on a consumer WhatsApp account, so we will not. What Birsend does is remove the usual causes: a deliberately modest pace, a daily ceiling, sending hours, a tighter cap while a new line warms up, and a refusal to message anyone who has opted out. What it cannot fix is an audience that never asked to hear from you.
No. Scan the pairing code shown in your dashboard from the WhatsApp app on your phone. Connecting the number takes under a minute; the half hour after it is spent deciding your sending rules, which matters more.
Yes, on every plan — the shared inbox is not something you have to move up for. Everybody works the same line, each message records who sent it, and roles decide who can do what. What the plan sets is how many seats.
Sending does not stop, and we would rather be straight about why: the plan figure is shown on your dashboard but nothing currently enforces it. There is no top-up to buy and no email will arrive, because this installation sends no email at all. If you expect to go well past your plan, tell us.
On a single server we operate. Connection secrets — WhatsApp tokens, any AI key you add — are stored encrypted; contacts and message bodies are not encrypted at the database level, and we would rather say so than imply a guarantee we have not built. Ask us if hosting region or a processing agreement is part of your decision.
There is no contract and no fee, but it is a message to us rather than a button — there is no card form in the panel yet. Export your contacts first: they come out as CSV, though conversations do not export at all today.
